Image Use Policy

We understand the responsibility to use others’ photos (to some extent).

Here in GreenCamp.in, we are definitely using others’ photos (along with some exclusively our photos). We respect the Ownership issue. Your photos are only yours. We may use it but we do not claim that it belongs to us. Yeh, that means we will clearly state that whom it belongs. It will be prominently visible with the photo. Like this one.

We do NOT sell or print or convert or reuse or modify any of the photos that we do not own exclusive copyright.

We use Apture Platform to know the copyright status of the photo. We prefer to use Creative Common photos. Creative Commons are for sharing. Many of us (partially including us) do not actually understand what a license essentially means. Whatever, it is obvious that Creative Common Photos remain Creative Commons in our sites.

We are trying to get permission from owners of all copyrighted photos if we use those. This process is multidimensional and multi-threaded. It takes all most one month for each photo  (email, re-emailing, replying, back-replying, online conversation, phone, claim, declaimer). We temporarily use those without prior permission but utterly wait for the approval or rejection. But it may generate two problem stated next.

You are cooperative but your photo is used without “by your-name” disclaimer. No problem. Just send a mail to “social+copyright_AT_gmail.com”. We will display it within 48 Hrs guaranteed.

You are angry. Your want us to remove your photo from our site. Again simple. Send a mail with your removal request (order) to social+copyright_AT_gmail.com. We will remove it within 48 Hrs guaranteed.

We are simple human beings. We will understand you better than Judiciary and Press.
