GreenCamp.in is an information portal primarily focused on eco-tourism in East and North-east India but not limited to only this subject or geographical boundaries.

GreenCamp.in with it’s virtual existence on the web has a physical existence near Tobin Road crossing at B.T. Road, Kolkata.

GreenCamp.in started as “Green Camp” in summer, 2007 to organize eco-tour packages in East and North-east India. As GreenCamp.in from August, 2009, we are mainly an information based organization to help travelers around the globe to explore India in unique way.

Our team is based on a community supporting ecotourism. We update and publish our community activities in GreenCamp.in and associated sites. Any one can join us on Google Friend Connect or Facebook page.

Kaushik Singha Roy,

Community Head / Eco-tourism Activist
He is in tourism business for more than a decade. He is a recognized name in promoting ecotourism activities. He did his post-graduation in Tourism in IATA. When he is not on field for ecotourism, one will find him writing some poems or playing with his daughter.

Soumyabrata Ghosh,

Editor (Voluntary), GreenCamp.in / Eco-tourism Activist / Researcher
He is a postgraduate in Bioinformatics from CU and a researcher in BESU. He is nature enthusiast and founder of conservation work group “|(.| We Stand For”. He voluntarily edits GreenCamp.in sites and obviously travels a lot. When he is not in his desktop, he is either in toilet or disturbing his dog Rik.

Dipannita Basak,

Head, Content Delivery (Voluntary)
She reads, writes, collects and corrects for hours. She is a post-graduate in Journalism and Mass-communication. She has worked as journalist in Global media companies like Associated Press and reputed web development companies like 123greetings, Compare Infobase. Now she is involved with a giant IT-based company. In her off-time, she used to travel for birding or sleep.

Payel Singha Roy,

Head, Content Discovery (Voluntary)
She holds post-graduate degree in IT and loves her teaching job. She is voluntarily involved with GreenCamp.in from it’s beginning. In her leisure time she travels or read or watch documentaries.
